Free operator note

Validate info-product demand before you write the course

Keyword tools report volume. They do not tell you whether someone will pay $39 for a file this week. Indie operators need buyer language, a gap, and a one-week publish plan — not another swipe file.

Listen before you outline

Open the last 20 public complaints in the niche: Reddit, HN, vendor forums, app-store reviews. Copy the sentences people actually type. If you cannot find repeated phrasing, you do not have a product yet. You have a topic.

A cluster is not a book

One landing page should own one job-to-be-done. “SEO for everyone” is a library. “Keyword map for a $39 digital brief” is a product. If the outline needs a table of contents with twelve chapters, cut it until a busy operator can finish it in a sitting.

Price against a margin, not a vibe

If ads, tools, and refunds cannot leave a 30% contribution margin, the niche is a hobby. Volume screenshots from an SEO suite do not pay Stripe fees — or, on this store, a SEPA transfer.

A seven-day sequence

  1. Pick one role and one outcome.
  2. Publish a landing page with the promise, the price, and what the file is not.
  3. Collect the first checkout or the first specific objection.
  4. Rewrite the promise in the buyer’s words, not yours.
  5. Do not buy ads until a handful of unforced sales exist.

The niche keyword demand map is that sequence on one page: clusters, a price band, and a publish plan. It is not an SEO encyclopedia.

Paid brief

If this page was useful and you want the dated checklist as a file, buy the brief. Still not legal advice.
